Scotty Reid has produced and hosted over 1,000 episodes of online radio since 2007. He currently hosts and produces One Black Man's View (2007), Black Talk Radio News & Views (2008) and Black Teen Empowerment Radio (2009). When it comes to music, Scotty believes he has a great ear for independent Hip-Hop and R&B music. He is always looking to feature new music from those artists being ignored by the recording industry because they remain true to their craft.The Black Talk Media Project was founded in 2008 by independent online radio producer and talk radio host Scotty Reid. The Black Talk Media Project is a N.C. based non profit using new media technology and social networking tools to inspire and train those interested in becoming citizen journalist and independent media producers.Through collaborative efforts with media partners, students and ordinary members of the community, we are raising the visibility and viability of new media targeting African-Americans and others in the global Black community.
